Regions to watch carefully
Examples include Bavaria and Oberbayern, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Darmstadt, the Zurich and Geneva regions, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Amsterdam and Utrecht, Brussels and Flemish Brabant, and Paris and Ile-de-France.
These areas often combine higher incomes, valuable property, and active energy policy discussions. That can create better conditions for major home upgrades, but it does not prove that every household is ready to buy.
What installers and publishers should avoid
Do not assume wealthy regions automatically mean easy sales. Apartment ownership, district heating, heritage rules, installer availability, and electricity-to-gas price ratios can all limit adoption.
Good targeting should pair income signals with building type, heating fuel, grant eligibility, and local trust-building content.
Accuracy note
Energy prices, grants, and installation costs vary by country and change frequently. Use this page for planning only and check current official sources before making decisions.
